HOUSTON — A man has been accused of grabbing a girl in a Walmart restroom.
Francis Jordan Horger, 37, has been charged with unlawful restraint of a child.
Harris County sheriff’s deputies said Horger spotted the girl, who is under the age of 8, go into a restroom alone at the store on F.M. 1960 East near Atascocita Road on Sunday.
“(Horger) followed the juvenile into the restroom and had picked up the complainant and carried her into the restroom stall,” Deputy Thomas Gilliand said.
The girl was not physically hurt or sexually assaulted, detectives said.
Someone else walked into the restroom a few moments later and heard the girl screaming, investigators said.
The girl ran out of the stall and Horger locked himself inside, officials said.
“The man was still in the stall in the female side of the bathroom,” Gilliand said.
Horger was arrested and released on $2,000 bond.
